Few, years ago I bought a '70 Convertible 194670S407502 originally sold new by University Chevrolet to a Jane A Carlisle at RT 4 Box 191N Gainsville FL . Financed by Citizens Bank of Gville. I have original window sticker and title. on and on. University Chev apparently is gone, and Rt 4 Box 191 N does'not seem to exist any more. I have googled maps and talked to post office and chamber of commerce, Apparently streets changed names over the years as development hit. Have shipping data report too. 3/24/70 build.
"different" car from back then, air cond, sutomatic, ps,pb,pw, HT 300 hp Yellow with black vinyl and 7,000 miles !!!
ANYBODY back in Gainsville have any leads on Jane or University,or Route 4, Gainsville ?
Unfortunately Jane parked shall we say - by feel. The car was original paint, interior, everything, but paint did the normal flake and peel, and a few too many $500. dings to live with so repaint. But rest of car very original, I am doing a very NCRS correct refresh.
