As many of you know, I love old dealerships from the 60's and 70's. My wife and I took the motorcycles for a little ride tonight and I shot a couple pictures of the old Smith Chevrolet in Rossburg, Ohio. Just a little spot of a town with one traffic light about 25 miles from our home. This dealership was quite a Corvette dealership in the day.
Hopefully a member will be looking for info on this store someday and will find these shots. It is located in Darke county, Ohio just a couple miles down the road from Eldora Speedway.
The building is now the home of the Rossburg Fire dept. I took a look into the old showroom and it still looks like a dealership inside. It opened in 1913. It closed sometime in the 80's. Pretty neat to stand in the parking lot and imagine the old inventory parked there.
