Back in 1975 I owned a red/red '61 Corvette, VIN 10867S102898, that I had just bought in Houston. It was a nice, never-wrecked car that had come to Texas from California a few years before.
At the time you could get copies of past Texas registration paperwork from the state DMV. I guess they weren't so obsessed with "privacy concerns" then. Anyway... I'll be glad to give these copies to anyone who wants them. They don't tell you much, but it would be nice to get them to whoever owns that '61 today.
