Concours Judging points

It's getting time to register for the Winter regional show Fun & Sun in Lakeland, Fl. I should have asked this question last year. I registered for the 2020 show and wrote on the registration I wanted to judge only in the Concours Judging. I was not selected to judge. So, I asked to Observe Judging in that class. I was told I could but I would receive NO POINTS for OJ judging. I was the only OJ judge. Why do you receive no points? So..if the same goes for this year, I won't register. Same will go for any other NCRS show.

Who told you? I'm not aware of any OJ points restrictions on Concours. OJ points at our Chapter anyway.

The whole judging points system is designed to encourage participation. So discouraging participation doesn't make sense.

Rex and Dave,
NCRS does not offer OJ Points for Concours. You may get OJ Points for Flight, but not Concours.

I paid my registration fee. I agreed to Judge. Was told they already selected their Concours judges. I said OK, then I'll OJ. But you don't get any points..I was told. Did the judges get any points? I spent the time watching what they were judging. Looks like I won't be judging anymore!
