    Advertiser's Link Button

Sorry, but I don't see the link button? Should it be in the large blue header bar above? Kevin

    Kevin,

Yes it should be in the big blue bar above. It is the fourth item over on the bottom row on my screen. "Visit Our Advertisers"

NCRS Lingo Defined Coming Events Submit Driveline Ad Visit Our Advertisers Driveline Online

If it doesn't show up on your screen in that way what do you see? The menu is generated based on your log in status, but the "Visit Our Advertisers" link should show up if you are logged in or not.

Hi John, You might recall we met briefly in St. Charles and I had asked this same question. It was a busy week so I can understand if it slipped your mind. In the blue header bar on the bottom line, fourth column over (under publications) my screen is blank?

      Thank you, Kevin

        Kevin,

Thanks for the reminder. I found the problem and you should now see the link. A setting had changed. Not sure how that happens but it did.

As administrator I have a slightly different view of the Tech Board than registered users. I don't get to see the board from your prospective, so I miss things like this. When problems like this crop up I depend on your help to figure them out.

Thanks again for pointing this out to me.

Thanks for the help, but the link still does not appear? Is it a problem on my end? I did log off then on again?
          Regards,

                  Kevin,

You may be getting at least part of the page from the cache. Try a hard refresh by pressing the CTRL key and the F5 key together. That should refresh the page, and call up the new page from the server instead of the cache.

I don't have the AOL Browser available to me here but I have logged on as a regular user with I.E. and I do see the correct links in the menu bar.

                    Re: Advertiser's Link Button

Still no luck John. I have tried to refresh as you requested along with logging off on both Internet Explorer and AOL Explorer. I logged off the TDB and restarted my computer as well. I guess the advertisers don't want my buisness? lol Just joking Are there any other members experiencing the same problem?

                    Thanks for all your help,

                    Kevin

Kevin, take a screen shot (alt/print screen to copy and then shift/insert to paste into the e-mail) and e-mail it to John. Thanks, Gary....

Can we get a dump of the HTML source (right click the browser window and select View Source (or something similar since I have a Dutch version of Windows). Copy and Paste the appearing code and mail it to John or myself to investigate...

Kevin, Rob would like for you to do the following:
1 - position cursor over menu bar where the blank spot is
2 - depress right button on mouse and selected "view page source"
3 - highlight the text and copy into a Word doc or an e-mail and send to John
                              Thanks, Gary....
