I hear owners that have or are restoring a C1 often complain about how their vett sits in the rear, ether to high or low on some posting. Their problem is not knowing the spring front hanger that hold the spring to the frame may be the wrong hangers.
53-55 spring hanger mounting hole location is quite different then a 56-62. Say you have 53-55 used on 56-62 the rear will sit notedly higher as viewed from the back.Also having 56-62 used on 53-55 the rear will sit notedly lower, making the owner think that the springs are worn.
I just thought I would pass this on to any one having this problem
