body dolly for C-3 anyone have specks??

anyone have measurements and build plans for a body dolly
Just like to know if anyone has them so Ill have them for the future removal of my body,
I was thinking of hitting the lowes for all my supplies =0)
maybe not the wheels but its been a long time since I have been to a lowes

You'll have to pick up a copy of "The Body Lift Workbook" by Nolan Adams...(comes with a video) ... has all measurements and material list... get it at the NCRS Book shop!

The plans in Nolan's book are for earlier vintage bodies, but all that is needed for C3 is to add a 4 x 4 on top of front cross piece of dolly. I used one a little longer than the plan cross piece and it works great. The dolly as designed is not high enough to properly support the front of the body. All other supports are in the correct location and position.
While at lumber yard you can also get enough wood to make a lift structure to use to remove body from frame. Mine is a little overkill, but it worked great. Used it to support frame for painting and to remove engine from chassis. Don't have plan, but may be able to find a picture.

by the way i am justy finishing up with the ultimate body dolly, this system adjusts to all body styles and supports the front and rear of the c3 , a big problem of flex. get in touch, i,m not giving it away but i may sell . i am located in ontario and this system can be broke down nicely.It was an incredible help in my body off, i am just finishing the second prime so about six months away.

I have the plans I made for a body dolly for 1973's it is made out of 2" square tubing and all body mounts bolt up as on the frame. The doors can be shimed and checked for fit. I used it for painting.
