I have a Carter AFB with a model # 3362S - all the info that I can find point to this as being a rear carb for a 63 409 2x4 set. A few months ago there was an article in the Restorer by Mike Ernst that covered all the identification points of the 3269S AFB for use on the 340hp/327. The carb that I have has all the same casting and identification numbers with the exception of the bell crank and the ID #. Getting to my question, this carb is in decent condition and might be ok till a correct one comes along. Does anyone know if they made non-reversable changes to mine that would make it impossible to use on my 340hp? Lastly, a few days ago I commented to someone on a 67 engine question and I stated that I had one around. I was trying to give input but after I posted it I realized that it was a used parts ad. With no way to retract it I had to face the fact that I had just broken a rule of the Disc. Board. Sorry for the slip. Eric
