Getting ready to have the dash pulled and repainted as well as repairing the odometer and trip meters. Could I get some addrs or ph. #s for some places that could repair both; also if there is someone in the Indpls area that would be great.
While the dash is out I'm going to replace all dash bulbs, are these bulbs available at auto stores or should I order these in ahead of time.Every thing "seems" to be o.k. and working but is out is there anything else that should be looked at or even replaced while the dash is out.Thanks Steve.

Let your fingers do the walking through the 'SERVICES' section of your copy of Driveline magazine and you'll find several NCRS members offering instrumentation restoration services. If you simply want what you've got 'repaired' (no re-do of the silk screen, Etc.), pop open the yellow pages and look up your local AC-Delco/United Delco speedometer shop (there were hundereds of these independent business' coast to coast who have parts and necessary calibration machines to repair speedo/odo & tach assys).

On bulbs, yes the bulbs are available locally. The tricky ones will be the 'blinker' bulbs for headlight and brake warning functions. Your copy of the owner's manual lists each bulb by mfgr number. On the blinker bulbs, NAPA still stocks them, but most individual stores do NOT inventory due to the low demand. Still, virtually all of the NAPA stores will order a 10-pack from the local NAPA warehouse and the 10-pack price is actually less (or equal) than what specialty Corvette catalog houses get selling you two individual bulbs!
