How can I find out what NOS keys would be for my 68 Corvette coupe. I understand some of the keys have characters stamped on them and I don't want to purchase a set of keys that is not for my car, can anyone help. ER...

Ed - You'll want the octagonal-end (head) key with the "C" keyway for he ign/doors and the round-end (head) key for the rear compartment/spare tire lock. GM logo etc on one side of the head and Briggs & Stratton info on the other side. Orignal keys had the KNOCK OUT and the key code was spamped on the knock out. I've got several and I'm even a 1968-1969 Revision Team Member. Being a member of the kinder, gentler NCRS DB responders, I do my best to help out fellow NCRS members as many others do. I thought that was our job. I must be missing something here. PeteComment
