Re: Z06 Option Change Time (Small Tank)

Franz, one point of order the FI was not part of the Z06 option had to be ordered separately as with the 4 sp and the posi rear. I had to order mine as separate line items.
Best Regards, when are you coming back to Daytona?

I do not think he did but I will look at my original retail order form and the invoice and window sticker. The data will be posted tomorrow.

The weather is great this week and all of the azelas are in bloom, nice time to be in Fl.

agree that posi, fi,& 4spd, were NOT added on to three Z06 options. they were a part of it.

Re: Z06 Option Change Time (Small Tank)

My retail order form is written as follows:
Cash Delivered Price of Unit $ 4252

            Accessories:
            Special Perfomance
            Package
            Fuel Injection Engine 1156

            360 HP.
            3.70 Positraction Rear

            4 Speed Trans.

            Sub Total 5408.00

            My Invoice is as follows:

            Fuel Injection Engine $ 1156.00
            3.70 Positraction Rear
            4 Speed Trans.

The total cost paid was $5408 and I have the checks.

The window sticker list all of the options Z06, FI, 4 Speed and posi with a separate cost. There also is a Destination charge of 102.75 with a total list price of $6207.10.

If you look at the sales brochure on the last page under Additional Optional Equipment* "Sintered ......... Special performance equipment package (available only on the Sport Coupe with Fuel Injection engine, 4-Speed transmissioin and Positraction) includes power-type heavy-duty brakes including finned drums with built-in fans, vented backing plates and front brake air scoops, special sintered-metalic linings and self-adjusting feature when driving forward; dual-circuit brake master cylinder; heavy-duty stabilizer bar; 36-gallon fuel tank; heavy-duty front and rear springs and shock absorbers; aluminum wheels with 6" rims and knock-off hubs. *optional at extra cost."

In my conversation with the dealer after the sale he refered to the options separately. He even said he forgot to charge me for them and therefore he asked if he could leave the 36 gallon tank out to try to recoupe his lost cost.

One other point that is nearly always quoted incorrectly is the type of brake material, even GM in their advertising for the new Z06 makes this mistake.

See a copy of my Retail Order form and Incoice at my web site.
