    C1 Brakes

Looking through my service guide, I cannot find anything on the procedure of bleeding brakes if there is one. Can anyone tell me if there is a procedure like starting with the left front first and going clockwise from there?? Some one said there was. Not sure.

    Thanks, Ed Reich

I have always been led to believe one should start at the furthest point, ie right rear. I do it this way and have never experienced any difficulties.

The farthest point (at which to start) is actually the left rear (driver side).

Hadn't thought about that, but you are absolutly correct; the line to the left side is quite a bit longer from the rear block. Apparently it doesn't make much difference since I've been doing it incorrectly for better than 35 years with good results!! I suspect that it is important to start at the rear though.
