    Holley Carb Rebuild

I always appreciate hearing other peoples experience with vendors so here is mine. I have a 67 BB 390 HP with a correct 3811 holley that leaked, started hard hot, and generally ran badly. The engine has 3000 miles on a quality rebuild. I did not want to spend the price of a new carb and I had rebuilt it myself to no avail.

I decided to send it to Chicago Corvette after several conversations with them. They use several vedors for carb rebuilding and they sent mine to Craig' Carb Restoration. It took 6 weeks and the carb looked good, does not leak and ran excellent. There was a minor problem with the idle but I talked directly with Craig and after trying a few things that he suggested he had me send him the carb. He paid the freight both ways and fixed the problem in a few days. I had the carb back one week after I sent it to him.

The problem was not one that was obvious until installed on my car and the car driven for a while. Overall I am very satisfied with Craig's work and his customer service. I would/will send any future carb work that I have directly to him.

    The address is:

Craig Bartling Craig's Carb Restoration 1030 Thornwood Lane Dacula, GA 30019-3007 (770) 682-0936
