i have a 59 vette with original functioning dealer installed air conditioning all numbers match how does that affect the worth and originality of the car?

dealer installed C-60 on any vet detracts from the value of any vet. as far as originality goes, no C-1s were factory equipped with A/C, hence big deduction on judging field. dealer installed options don't get + points on judging field, - points are the norm. if you intend to have it judged, take off the aftermarket C-60 pieces , and go for it. if you want to cruise in your c-1 and enjoy it in comfort, get some freon and go for it. have fun with your C-1. mike
