Geoffrey, That is a neat shetch. I have many memories of Zora also, one in particular, was the last week of his working life at Engineering. I ran into him in the hall, just outside of his office, and he asked me if I had a minute and could I step into his office. He went over to his desk, which he had been cleaning out, and opened the kneehole drawer and picked out a pair of puter cufflinks shaped like miniature Corvettes and gave them to me and said I would like you to have these. Wow was I shocked. I have them to this day and treasure them.

i had the pleasure of meeting him several times and i noticed that he called it a "curvette" not "corvette" must have been the accent.

if the old boy made it to heaven, and i suspect he did, i imagine he's got a gin and tonic in his left hand, a viceroy between his 2nd and 3rd left fingers, and a 30-ish year old very attractive ncrs member's wife on his right arm. that's how i remember the fella that brought us out of the 6 cyl era into the duntov cam, rochester Fi era etc. god bless the best thing that GM acquired in the mid-=50s mike mccagh
