    C2- Driveshaft question

While restoring the suspension on my 67 roadster, I noticed the driveshaft yokes are not parallel to each other. They are at different angles and do not line up with each other. I have never seen another one like that. It is the original piece, and does not cause any vibration. Does anyone have an explanation?

    Re: C2- Driveshaft question

By design the C2/3 engine is offset one inch to the right of centerline to provide more foot room for the driver, and, of course, the differential pinion gear is off center. Not sure what the actual design offset delta is, but the other consideration is u-joint angle. It should be greater than zero degrees, but less than 3 degrees.
