'58 Early Build

My '58 is VIN # 2838. I believe it was built very early January 1958. I see parts listed for a '58E. What was the approximate VIN # when early became later?
I do have a left hood support bracket which I believe is later. I'm curious if my build time was during a transition period. Any info would be appreciated.

The terms "early" and "late " refer to individual parts and not to the whole car. An individual car could, and probably will have both early and late parts if it was built in mid production.

Thanks, Ed. I am finding that true with my car. Some parts are early and some late.
