I need to determine if the seats in my 63 coupe are correct. The interior is Saddle and these seats do not meet at the top like the usual (typical) 63 seats.
The seats I have are more rounded to squared off at the top of the back rest. Furthermore, the pleats are sewn and not heat welded. Are these seats configured like the leather seats that were offered in 63? (RPO898-A) I do not believe the seats that I have are leather.
Looking at a publication, Corvette Fifty Years, by Randy Leffingwell, on page 183, there is a 63 coupe with what looks like, the seats in my car. The picture is black/white, but, if I let my imagination run a little, the car looks like a saddle/saddle car. I would appreciate your input and guidance on this issue of seat construction. Thanks, Dan K. 37814
