    57' Powerglide Shifter Assembly

Does the spring rest directly on the mounting bracket or is there a flat washer or a spacer of some type between the spring and the mounting bracket? As always THANKS for the valuable information.

    Best Wishes!

    Bob,
I have the PG shifter out of my '56 now. I'll check it tonight and let you know.

      Bob,
I did check the shifter on my '56 and ther is NO washer between the shifter frame and the spring.
      Hope this helps.
