      John, I have used the MSD box on several TI equipped cars. Use the original distributor to trigger the box. Very marked improvement in performance. For originality you can paint the box black and hide the box and harness with a little effort. If judging is not required, use the MSD ignition coil and a real good set of ignition wires also

          if the wire supplied to connect the dist

          to the "box" is not "keyed" for orientation make sure you get the polarity correct or your engine will not run correctly
