INDY meet question

Hi,

Does anyone have a schedule of events for the INDY meet this upcoming weekend? If so when do the cars have to be in place if being judged. Also what kind of driving is being permitted and for what length of time (or laps) on Sunday. Just curious. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help.

Cars will need to be in place around 8:00 A.M. Saturday Morning. The owners and judges meeting will start at 8:00. You will want to attend one or both of these meetings. They will be held in the judging area.

Registration is open on Friday after about 4:30 P.M. and will be open again by about 7:00-7:30 A.M. on Saturday.

Unlike the good old days the track lap is very restricted (thank you lawyers and insurance companies). There will be approximately one lap. It will be lead by speedway security personnel. Due to construction on the Formula 1 road course this summer, we are not sure where we will enter, exit the track. I was told that we would not be able to stop in the pits this year for pictures. Pictures will be taken at another location.

I will say this, I have driven my 1962 around that track about 20 times since 1974, and it is still awsome. If you have never done it is well worth your time.

Due to the expense of renting the track, I don't know how many more years the Indiana Chapter is going to hold the meet there.
