What is the database and what is the cost?

On behalf of the uneducated or dense like myself, could you tell me/us something about the AIM database and what it costs?

        Thanks
        Dick

          Don,

Sign me up! Thanks for all of the painstaking work in getting these into a database forum.

FYI - what is the cost anywho?

BTW - folks sometimes have problems responding to email from me - seems when they click on "REPLY" my ISP adds some "extra" characters in the email address.
if you save my email address in your address book, you should have no problems -my email address is:

            To receive the database:
I want your real name and an e-addy that will accept mail with attachments. I like to know to who and where it goes. My only request is that it never be sold anywhere, like e-bay.

            What it is:
it is the AIM with all data entered into a Microsoft Access database - yes you need Bill Gates software. Is that bolt used anywhere else? look up the part number and it can tell where else and you can check the bolt head marks. What is the part number for the horn? How many of these parts do I need to restore the doors?

            The price:
You can buy me a cup of coffee if we ever meet.

            Don

I'm not familiar with MS Access. I assume it is not bundled with any Windows operating systems?

It is in their office software bundle along with the spreadsheet Excell, PowerPoint presentations, and Word.
I don't know an office that doesn't use these tools.

Ours used WordPerfect, QuattroPro, Presentations, and Paradox, like most legal and government offices

                    MS Access

I never said it was the best, just the most common.
