    Right Cylinder Head Plug

Does a 1970 300HP 350 use an indented hex, indented square, or external square pipe plug on the right cylinder head to plug the unused temp. switch hole.

    Not Unused...

Lawrence, the right cylinder head has a dedicated temperature switch for the "transmission controlled spark" system.

Interesting, thanks for the information Chuck. I'll get on it first thing in the morning. Lawrence

TCS temperature switches are available from most Corvette vendors; Paragon and Dr. Rebuild are two that I know have them. I believe these were manufactured by AC, but I am not sure they are identical to the originals. If there are obvious differences, they may incur deducts in judging.

If all the spark plug shielding is in place the TCS temperature switch is all but invisible on a 1970-72 small block. However, on a big block it's very visible.
