Pennant Blue paint code

I'm somewhat confused about paint codes for 54 Pennant Blue. In my 1953-1972 Corvette Specifications Guide the Ditzler code for off-set paint is 13552, but on the next page Ditzler's refinishing paint code for Pennant Blue is DAL11238. What is the difference in these two numbers? Am I correct that Ditzler is no more and that PPG bought them out? Finally, what is the code for Pennant Blue in bc/cc either PPG or some other company?

Ditzler and PPG are the same company. Just call your local PPG paint supplier and he can check for an offset for pennant blue in BC/CC. Sometimes they have the offsets even if it is not published anywhere. It is hit and miss sometimes but they can call the central offices and find formulas. I just got 58-64 silver blue last week, and some 30s and 40s colors in single stage urethane, so they are available.
