    '67 TRANSISTER IGNITION CAUTIONS

I have read the cautions regarding working with transister ignition; don't remove and check for spark at more than 1 plug at a time, and I believe the other is don't disconnect the coil wire. I want to re-check my fuel lines (tri-power) for leaks without trying to start the engine. What is the best way to dissable the ignition, while dissconnecting as little as possible?

if you have a new camshaft in the engine

spinning the engine over with the starter is not good for the cam lobes and lifters because of the lack of lubrication. if the cam has been run in or is not new there is no problem
