Accelerator Pedal '67

I purchased the "best repro" from LIC and was about to install it tonight when I noticed that it does not flex at the turn from the attachment part to the pedal. It's sort of a fixed angle. Is this normal? Has anyone else bought this one?

I bought mine from CC but it is probably the same pedal. It was very stiff when installed but after I worked it back and forth several times, I got it to work OK

I got the one from CC for my 66. Same thing, looks like it shouldn't work, but it works fine.

I tried them from three suppliers, all were stiff as hell; had no "hinge" action at all, no way they would ever work. Finally found a nice one that looks and works as it should - Willcox Corvette in Jeffersonville, Indiana, (800) 588-3883. Ask for Ernie and he'll take care of you.
