Re: 1975 RESTORATION
Tim, join the NCRS, attend some regional meets, sign up for observer judging. Buy several books starting with the NCRS 75-77(?) Technical Information Manual and Judging Guide, the 75 Assembly Instruction Manual, the 75 Chevrolet Chassis Service Manual, and M. F. Dobbins "Fact Book" that covers your year. If you want to to a body-off, then Joe Tripoli's chassis restoration book will provide good general information. Hanging out on this board will also provide you with a lot of good info.
Drive the car a few months (years? ) while you're learning, then decide how deep a restoration you want to do (body-on, body-off, etc.). Try to estimate how much the restoration will cost versus what you want to spend, make a plan, then get after it.- Top
