    Trunk Division Panel

I have an early 1960 (Serial # 512)and I had a question about the trunk division trim panel. I purchased the correct bulged version (as I have the power top) and it came in a dark grey-black color (unpainted). In the 1958-60 judging manual it refers to it being "painted to match trim color". Does this mean spray painted? In what finish, (flat, gloss, semi)? As my car is Honduras Maroon, the inside of the trunk is painted Maroon, and the trunk mat is Black, as is the interior. If the trunk panel is to be painted, would it be Maroon to match the trunk interior, or Black to match the trunk mat and vehicle interior?
    Thanks for the help!

Does the trunk mat always match the interior color? Thanks, Joe #37862

As per the 1958-60 Judging Manual, it says that the trunk mats always match the interior color.
