    Midyear Ignition Shielding Protection

What do you recommend putting on midyear ignition shielding to keep them from
rusting??? I have been putting car wax on them but I was wondering if there was anything better.

    Thanks

The RF ignition shielding used for C2 Corvettes was either stainless steel or chromed steel, depending on the individual piece. Under normal circumstances, it is rust-resistant. I don't know why you would need anything to keep it from rusting. The spark plug heat shields are zinc plated steel and, normally, are pretty rust-resistant, too.
