C1 wiper blade (arm tip) removal

I've bought repro wiper blades from CC. They come with a section that attaches to the tip of the wiper arms. How do I remove the old (ANCO, different style) blade holders without mucking things up? There is no obvious place to poke a sharp object to release them.
Does the wiper arm (assumed original, but not sure) have a hole on the flat end, or does it have a raised button? The repro blades seem to expect the latter (they have a hole and internal spring, but the present setup doesn't appear to have these features. I can't believe that ANCO provided complete arms?

The ANCO wiper arm adaptors are seen with reasonable frequency. They were a 1-way solution to changing the normal bayonet termination of the Trico arm to accept ANCO's 'native' wiper blade interconnect. They locked into position on the Trico, bayonet tipped arm, and were NOT intended for easy removal (lock you into using standard ANCO blades).

Invert the arm and backstop the tip to keep it from slipping away from you. Take a small, slot-head, screwdriver and carefully de-crimp the outer edges of the adaptor from their grasp of the wiper arm tip. Once you gain clearance and the adaptor begins to move freely along BOTH sides, you can unlock its hold on either the arm's tip-hole or tip-pin (depends on style of the particular Trico arm you have).

It's a minor PITA, but if you work carefully bending/deforming the bottom side crimp of the adaptor, you WILL get it free/off without scaring the tip of the arm. Good luck!
