Here's the word on the proper orientation of the clock and gauge lenses for '63-'67 Corvettes. I just spoke to Roger Scott of Corvette Instrument Service, and he straightened me out. I was dead wrong all along.
ALL are concave (bulge away from the driver). All years, all gauges, all clocks. In my case, Bubba had been there before me, and so when I redid my cluster and clock, I reassembled all as per Bubba (all lenses reversed). As someone said on another thread, the WORDING in the TIM&JG is somewhat UNCLEAR. The cluster was in such poor shape before I restored it, that I figured it had never been apart before. The clock was in even worse shape. Boy, oh, boy, the gods all conspired against me here, what a coincidence. Excuse me while I go to the garage and have some fun pulling the cluster and clock out of the dash.
