61Engine casting date

Can some one tell me if 1961 vette with an engine casting date of E81 and build date of f0509 CU checks out as correct. Is this possible to have only one day difference.

Sounds good to me. In fact, PERFECT! Several cases of same day cast-build have been documented. Sometimes folks slip-up on the time lag between assembly at Flint and car build at St. Louis. Typically it took 10 days to ship completed engines from Flint to St. Louis. They were crated three to a rack and shipped in box cars by rail.
