Attached to the L/H fresh air pull cable is a clip with a Black wire coming from the dash harness in to a female plug.... what does this feed and what color wire should be attached to the male plug... thanks... jer

Jerry,

I believe you are refering to the black metal clip and it attaches to the hood pull cable (bowden cable) that goes thru the firewall to the hood latches.

There should be no electrical wires or connections associated with this clip.

Jerry,

This black wire and plug hooks to the green horn wire that comes from inside the steering column. The green wire is located near the turn signal switch and pops out of a little hole in the lower steering column. When you press the horn button this circuit makes ground and the horn sounds.
