Description of 65 Rad Cap

I have a 65 L79 coupe and i was hoping someone could describe what is on the proper rad cap for it. the JG just says it is a AC model 307 rated for 13 lbs. is there an RC numer that goes with that like RC-13? If someone could describe the wording onit that would be great.

It is AC model 307 rated @13 lbs,
It is a zinc plated steel cap with, AC cicled on the left side and 13# listed above the 307 also circled onthe right.AC model #307 no RC number
Unless you have A/C, then its RC-26.

Note the rivit holding the assembly together will be aluminum.

You'll find a nice picture of the face of the cap in Paragon's catalog that details their reproduction if the descriptive words in this thread don't help you envision what you're looking for....

Of course, their reproduction isn't entirely accurate, either, so take it all with a grain of salt.
