Re: This is the wrong place....

Just as a data point, our Michigan Chapter has 180 members, and less than ten don't have an e-mail address.

Re: This is the wrong place....

Sounds like it is time to review this past thinking again I always see discussions here about delayed Driveline delivery and timeliness of being able to buy a part.....what an easy way to fix! Maybe even a pdf copy of the driveline so you can view it online just as a mail copy was sent? But I suppose as Jack states, we are preaching to the choir here since the folks here have access..... but as John notes....times are changing........Craig

does it cost to put a ad in driveline?

if it does the loss of revenue could be the reason.

Yes, your membership fee. So as a member, you can enter an ad for free.

            no ad it's easy

Like a politician never say what you really mean, so use words like
I've been thinking of buying A FI
I don't think I need this FI any more
            Looking at finding a FI
Any one know of some one selling a FI
            Have extra FI left
You have some FI's just laying around
Any one out there have FI laying around
And so on , and so on.
This way no one is setting a price to buy or sell.

              Re: no ad it's easy

Roy, I have been thinking of buying an FI for 30 years.

The closest I got was a complete one at Hershey in '84 for $800, and instead of leaving a deposit on it, I tried to find my friend to borrow a $100 to complete the deal. Well, you know, cold hard cash deals better than $700 now and $100 when I pick it up.

He got an aisle away from me and by the time I got back, the FI had gotten away.

Now if anyone wants to help me complete that deal (at the original price), I don't anyone would think this is an ad but a joke and they are rolling on the floor laughing about someone trying to buy an FI for $800 today.
