    58 corvette fuel injection

I have recently purchased a car 63 nova that has the following.

The car has a 7014900 corvette fuel injection unit on it they only made 504 of these does anybody have any idea what this is worth?

The car also has a complete late production 3789935 61 corvette motor anybody know what that is worth?

It also has a 1111064 distributor 64 corvette fi injection distributor.

I am contenplating pulling all of this out of the nova for the right price. I will take $10,000 for everything.

It's a No No to sell and give a price here !
You should say , is their any one that know's some one that would need it.
That statement would let people know what your intent is.

A MINT fuel injection, complete with adapter plate and correct distributer is worth around $6K. The correct air cleaner will cost another $1000 or so. Mint means it looks and runs just like it left the factory, no modifications (other than a fuel shut-off solenoid) and no mismatched parts. Units needing cosmetic/mechanical restoration, or put together out of parts are trading for a lot less.

I guess that means my 7011956 FI unit, Serial # 1001 with an 1111070 dist isn't worth much then. Right?
Although it sure does run great on the SB400 in my 56!

          Dave,

I am search of the original block for my late model '61 Corvette. Can you provide the numbers/letters from the front right-hand pad? I am ever hopeful that it will turn up someday. Even if it does not match, I might still be interested in the engine if the date code is correct (cast on top right on the rear of the block). Can you provide that info too?

          Thanks,
          Mike

No, Tom, I wouldn't say that. However, DeGregory, Podell, et al, sell restored units with all the right parts for around $6K. DeGregory's units are complete down to the right bolts and gaskets for installation. Units that need restoration/rebuild or are missing parts aren't going to be worth as much to most folks. Since your unit is on the 56, you don't have to give a hoot if there is a mismatch of parts as long as it runs well.
