Recently i finished replacing my rear crossmember on my 1960 corvette. this became a 6 month ordeal. first the part that i ordered from a well known company was just terrible. Many problems with it and not safe to install on car. They didn't want to exchange it, but i won out with a little legal advice. On to the next part, couldn't find anyone that had actually put rivets back in. well after many months of this research , i decided to make a tool that fit in my air hammer. I made a nice tool that once the rivet was in place and heated , you could hit the air hammer and BOOM, your rivet was done. Came out pretty good and now i'm on my way of finishing my frame. If anyone needs some help , let me know.
