    Cooling fan on e-bay id?

Is this the right cooling fan for a '67 with A/C?

Joe Randolph posted earlier with this link to a correct fan, which looks different to me:

I just want to check before I wind up with another wrong fan.

    Thanks!

Re: Cooling fan on e-bay id?

David - The picture of the Camaro fan Joe posted is not what I would expect to find on either an original '66 or '67 sb or BB Corvette w/ C60.

The fan on E-bay is listed as 17" dia. and looks to be the GM P/N 3770529 fan blade assembly which was used on sb Corvettes w/o C60 in the 60s. FYI, this part was recently still available thru GM. Pete

      Thanks.
Fan diameters can be difficult to measure, so I was was not certain the 17" figure was entirely accurate.
I'm looking for the correct fan for my 1967 BB (L36) with A/C (C60).
I suspected this fan was either 3770529, or, as I hoped the 3789562 called out in the AIM. I'm not sure how to tell the difference.
The photo Joe posted was supposed to be of the 3789562 fan, which, if I understood his post correctly, would make it correct for my car.
Unless someone contradicts you, and convinces me that the e-bay fan is correct for my car, I'll keep looking.

Re: Cooling fan on e-bay id?

David - Please note that the fan blade assemblies, P/Ns 3789562 and 3863137 (opt), called out on the UPC C60, C2 SHEET of the '67 AIM are for the sb ("327") engines.

The 1967 Chevrolet Parts and Accessories Catalog shows P/N 3888366 (Group No 1.064) for 66-67 Corvette (427) and indicates 17 1/2" dia, 5 blades. There is no separate listing for 427 w/ C60 air conditioning.

          Thanks for clearing that up.
The confirms what I read in the Noland Adams book.
I think I know what I'm looking for now.
          Just gotta find it.
Doesn't seem to be available from GM anymore.
LIC wants $150 for the fan and $165 for the clutch.
I'd rather get a working used part for less $$$.
