Library - Part number/cast numbers

Can fellow members make a recommendation on books that would help me to ask less questions on this board, specifically casting numbers, Delco part numbers, etc. I presently use my Assembly manual, Books from Dobbins, Adams, Chevrolet shop manuals. Also what books identify multi-car use?

A few that I could recommend are any of Alan Colvin's "Chevrolet By the Numbers" series. There are 4 volumes which cover the 1955 to 1975 period. Also, there is a book entitled "Small Block Chevrolet Casting Numbers", but I can't recall the author at the moment and don't have it handy for reference. It may be available from the NCRS office or, if not, from Motorbooks.
