Geoff, Met Ed in the mid '80's...
...Read his Restorer articles, waited w/much excitement for his super repro batteries. He was (and I hope is) quite the incredible person. He was of great help to me after our son suffered a major head injury in understanding things that most people are fortunate to never need to understand. And, always one of my favorites, I'd call him for an answer to a reasonably simple question, and he'd answer the question for 2 to 3 hours. Great guy, but his guard dogs never fell in love with me...- Top

Re: Geoff, Met Ed in the mid '80's...
Geoff,
I really miss Ed at the Florida NCRS shows. Would play with the dogs and have a round of golf each year with Carol and Ed. They must be visiting Arkansas because their Vet is in El Dorado Arksansas. Yes, they lived in Pennsylvania but a trip to the vet a couple of times a year was a great excuse to fill up the House on Wheels in West Memphis.
If anyone talks to them, give them my best and tell them to call if they are at the Vet in El Dorado.
Regards,
JR- Top

Geoff:
I think he's got 2 1960 FI cars, Stil retains his rank as a curmudgeon first class when provoked. I assume that picture is taken of his rig down in the Yumas AZ area.
What the web site call in?

Re: Ed goes Beyond NCRS
The last time I saw Ed was at one of the MAC events at Doc McCagh's. I made the mistake of asking him a simple question about a battery. Two hours later I knew more than I would ever want to forget about Tar Tops.Dick Whittington- Top
