1 Point per 100, up to 10% of earned score...

example - 750 miles adds 7.5 points, if you scored at least 75 before miles are added - and you must score at least 75 (Third Flight) to get any mile points.

      Re: Mileage Points

      The system is:

Take the owners declared milage driven (one way, actual miles NOT as the crow flies miles) to the meet.

Divide that number by 100 and concantenate at the first decimal place (eg. 727 miles driven divided by 100 becomes 7.27 -> 7.2).

Now, add that PERCENTAGE to the car's raw Flight score.

BUT, do not allow the adder to be more than 10% of the raw Flight score nor allow the adder to move the car's final Flight score more than one category upward (eg. can't go from 3rd Flight to Top Flight).

Last, if the car failes to achieve 3rd Flight or better on its own merit(s), no milage driven credit is applied....

With them big words, I guess that I'll have to go to college to understand what they be saying. I figured that several degrees from the School of Hard Knocks, BS, MS, and PhD would be enough but.....
