I responded to this one the first time, but I understand the problems with the board at that time, also.
For 1966 through 1969 the big block exhaust manifolds were all the same CASTING numbers. These were GM #3880827, left side and GM #3880828, right side.
For 1966 and 1967 big blocks WITHOUT the K-19 Air Injection Reactor System, there were no drilled and tapped fittings and the manifold PART numbers were the same as the CASTING numbers. For 1966 and 1967 big blocks WITH K-19 and ALL 1968 and 1969 big blocks, the same CASTING NUMBER manifolds were drilled and tapped for A.I.R.They then became known as GM PART #3880833, left side and GM #3880834, right side.
After 1969, the GM PART numbers 3880827 and 3880833 manifolds were discontinued for PRODUCTION Corvettes and available for SERVICE only. The GM PART numbers 3880828 and GM #3880834 continued to be used for 1970-74 big blocks, depending on whether they were A.I.R. equipped or not and, for the 70-74 period, this varied by particular year and engine RPO. The left side manifold, however, was changed to GM CASTING number 3969869. This manifold, without A.I.R. fittings, had the same PART number as the CASTING number. With A.I.R fittings it was known as GM PART number 3969923.
