        Re: Ligtweight Replica Blocks

I just thought they would be a way to lose 200 lbs on the unit and make it easier to toss in the back of a vehicle and transport from site to site. Otherwise you've got to have some hefty engine stands and other hardware to bring to each event.

I'm not sure if they sell a block w/o heads in case you wanted original type heads or aluminum ones on certain models.

          Re: Hurdles...

The '57 fuelie GM had on the stand at Windsor was a nice conversation piece and made a great seminar. Since it's already on a stand, maybe they would lone it to you. Or, better yet, invite them to bring it to Orlando.

That's like building an L-88 and then detuning it. *NM*

Would this be better at the next National instead of a regional?

We are planning on having a new ZO6 motor and an old 427 Rat motor displayed at the Lone Star Regional at Waco in October. The rat motor should be painted as installed.

Thanks Bob. Not sure if I'll be able to make the event or not but I'll try. Would be interesting to see.
