Other than actual contact with members in Lafayette, the next best thing I can think of is, check in with the local TV station, channel 4 website, that has been broadcasting local news of the New Orleans area since last week. They constantly list phone numbers and contact info for all of the small towns near New Orleans and also show video of the different areas that you can watch right on your computer. I've had this running on my computer for the last three or four days. The videos show much more than the network TV stations and the information is more accurate and real. Here's the link.

James and Barbra are fine. Mark Kinnler is OK and although I haven't heard from Norris Stouts, Lafayette was spared from Katrina. ThadComment

We have numerous Louisian Chapter members that have been directly affected by this massive tragedy. Our chapter has numerous members in New Orleans and the north shore areas such as Slidell. If you pray you might include them.Comment
