    Mid year

About to purchase a mid year...and unfortunately most are avialable at dealers.
Hoping to find out anyone's experiences, good & bad with :
    Vintage Vettes in Kansas City,MO
    Corvette Experience in Ft.Lauderdale,FL
    Crossflags Corvettes in New Jersey,
Greg Wyatt auto sales in Georgia.

Any comments would be much appreciated, Thank you.

Take someone with you who knows what they are doing.

The dealers and owners all try to make as much profit as they can and if you don't know what they are selling you can get burned by anyone. Don't pay for an original show car and get a driver. Hire an expert before you buy from anyone if you are unsure what a car is worth. Lyle

Keep in mind when looking for a mid year that you are looking at classics that can range depending on condition and originality from 25,000-125,000 and at the low range you are getting a driver which could require an investment of another 25,000 to get it to a visually perfect state. Corvette ownership is a labor of love for most owners and that's why in many cases some cars have more money into them than what their worth on the open market. These cars are also subject to recessionary periods like any other investments and their value is starting to erode as our government slows down the economy. On the other hand they are excellent investments considering I have some friends who have purchased one every 7-10 years and now have a healthy little retirement package in that collection.

I have known Greg Wyatt for about 8 years. He only deals with very NICE cars, normally top flight. He isn't cheap, but good stuff isn't. He seems honest to me.
