'67 power steering linkage

I see in the JG that on manual steering cars, the steering linkage is painted s/g black as an assembly. Is that also the case with power steering cars?

Yes, with the exception that the pitman arm on power steering cars isn't painted; the pitman arm was part of the manual linkage at Buffalo and was painted as part of the linkage assembly, but the (different) pitman arm on power steering cars was assembled at St. Louis along with the control valve.

John, does that include the directional valve? Is it also painted black as an assembly?
