    Corvertible top storage

    Members,
The onset of winter prompts this question. There are many articles that advise that the convertible top be stored in the upright position to prevent shrinkage and rear window damage. I'm fine with the good advise.

Problem is: When the optional hardtop is installed (during winter months, etc.), the convertible top is folded away. Obviously, we can't have it both ways.

Question: What do the smart guys do regarding this storage dilemma?

    Thanks and regards,
    Gene

    Re: Corvertible top storage

I put my hardtop on every year. I remove the softtop and store it open. It doesn't get the same stretch as if it was on the car, but I haven't had any problems with shrinkage yet.
Remember to mark the position of the side mounts before removing the top so you won't have fit problems next year.
