I am working on replacing the fuel pump on a late year '54 vette. My question is,
what is the difference between the 9797 and the 4132. I do not want to install
the wrong pump.
The only difference is that the "top half" of the 4132 is rotated about 20 degrees outward in relation to the 9797, so that the fuel outlet is parallel to the engine block. You can take a 9797, unscrew the top, rotate and retap some holes, and you'll have the 4132 configuration.
Unless you have a VERY early 54, you need the 4132 configuration. Chuck
