I am restoring a 58 Vette and looking for a original Jack for a 58 Vette #SJ4653 and a set of original Horns for a 58, #351 & #352, can anyone help me out and tell me where I can find any of them. Don

There is a guy named Dennis Portka who advertises in the drive line.. He has the horns you'll need..He lives in Hamburg N.Y. As far as the Jack, good luck. They are hard to find. Check ebay for the Jack.

There is an original SJ4653 jack on ebay right now as we speak. I have seen them go as high as 450.00-500.00.

Donald,
You are a lucky man. The "this is a tech board and these types of posts are not permitted" deputy must be on vacation this week. Nope, sorry he has posted several times today. Anyway, be careful with asking for THIS type of help on this board. You just might be publically flogged, tarred and feathered. Good Grief man, don't you know how damaging these types of posts are to this board?

So, take heed to the message of using the Driveline to find your rare needed parts. Just take out a Wanted Parts ad, wait patiently for two or three months and you just might strike gold. Good luck and keep your head down.

My sign-off of TIC stands for tounge- in- cheek. A few weeks back I also requested help in finding a C1 jack and innocently started a sh-t storm with a couple of people. You owe me no apologies becuase it was all meant in fun. I agree, regardless of the well intentioned, there are still a lot of great guys on here who helped me out many times and are also helping you. That's what it is all about. Don't let my little shot at some fun keep you from seeking advice from some extremely knowledgable and resourceful people.

BTW- if you don't have any luck in finding one or if you find that they are rediculously high priced for the fifteen point deduction then email me and I can possibly help you with an alternative. Good luck and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
