      Re: metering rods

Do you know if the metering rods from the AFB's fit the WCFB's?
The reason I ask is that a selection of rods and jets are readily available for the AFB's, but I did not know if they will work.
      Thanks,
      Doug

Lots of Chrysler/Plymouth WCFB's around..might be a good source to find different size metering rods.

I used to have a 57 Plymouth Fury dual quad set up..that came from an old hot rodder..he said they did not have the same flooding problem?

I would guess there is a metering rod parts book somewhere..I would like to see it if anyone has one.

              Re: metering rods

WCFB was used in many other years and make cars, At swap meets you find many , I buy junk looking ones from 5 to $15 dollars just to collect their metering rods. The parts dept. Used to sell KITS having many rods of different sizes , with them you dint need to open the Carb to replace them , so that there was no need to buy jets which would cause you to open up the Carb to replace.
With the kits you could fine tune your Carb to meet your condition.
